Training residents for 15 years
Young doctors who finished university and obtained their medical degrees are called residents or practitioners in the different models of doctor training all over the world. Residents already have specializations and they do medical tasks supervised by specialists in different clinical wards connected to their specialisations for several months. After years of residency doctors start working as a registrar in the area of healthcare that relates to their specialty and then take the special examination. In most countries a successful special exam is a significant step in a docotor’s career and indicates a move towards independent decision-making. We are proud that in the last 15 years several young colleagues honoured us with their confidence when they decided to obtain their special qualifications with our help and supervision.
